Loreli came with 1/2 inch #8 machine screws. I replaced them with oval
topped stainless screws and finish washers (the kind of hump shaped ones).
Since then, I've replaced THOSE with screw in snap connectors. When I put a
stereo in the car, I wanted to cover the 6x9 speaker boxes that are on the
back shelf, for security reasons. I bought a snap kit at home depot and used
some vinyl. Voila, mini tonneau!
Don't know about the early '67, but my '70 has 11 screws there, not 10. (I
know this because I had to go BACK to home depot for another package of
screws. I bought two packs of five the first time)

Well, my Parts Manual says they are 3/32" machine screws BUT, when I check
the body it appears that the MOULDING-waist is held on with 10 countersunk
self tapping screws, 3/32 x 1/2"????
I wouldn't think that they would have nuts on them, that would be VERY cruel
to assemble.
I would advise stainless screws for best weather protection

I'm looking for the correct hardware to install the upholstered angled trim
piece that goes around the back of the cockpit tub. Not sure if it uses
nuts/washers or sheetmetal screws. Size? Thanks for the help/
