I have had that starting problem before.  I went several month parking on 
slopes or leaving room to do a push start.  Get it rolling, hop in and hit 
the key.

 It turned out to be the ground strap from the starter to the frame.  I 
sanded the area on the frame, tightened all the connections and it helped. 
The final fix was repairing the cable itself.   The cable inside the 
connector had become corroded.  I crimped on a new connector and the problem

was fixed.
