Joe,

Short answer is that, yes, I've seen 2000 manifolds cut down and fit onto an
L-4, but it's far easier to just buy the Nissan manifold built for it. The
bigger 2000 carbs can be made to work on bigger modified motors, but a set
of rebuilt 38mm from Z-Therapy is really the best place to start. Check out
Z-Therapy or the classifieds on the Dime Quarterly website. Whatever you do
make sure the carbs, any carb, are in good shape with no leaky shafts and
the the manifold and head surfaces are straight and clean.
