CARB FLOAT BOWL LEAKING ON MY 1968 1600, SPL3S11, SU CARBS.. MOTORING ALONG, STOPPED AT TRAFFIC LIGHT AND SMELLED GASOLINE,, POPPED HOOD AND GAS IS SPURTING OUT OF THE OVERFLOW TUBE ON THE FLOAT BOWL CLOSEST TO FIREWALL, REAR CARB. FRONT CARB FINE NO PROBLEMS.... SHOULD I TTAKE THE BOWL OFF AND CHECK IT??? I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THE CARBS, SO...I DON'T WANT TO SCREW ANYTHING UP HERE!!!!!!!!!! ADVICE NEEDED THANKS GUYS & GALS; DAVE PEAY "INDY DATSUN" '68 1600 ( ALL STOCK) |
