Hey Group -
I have a harden steel club that loops around the clutch or brake pedal and
the steering wheel. Also I have put in a removable dash plate stereo system
and always make sure to remove the plate. Normally I never run with the top
up, so the car is wide open where ever I go, and haven't had any problems with
any of my roadsters.
On the oil side of things, my brother was a mechanic for years and he
religiously recommends from the regular ranks Valvoline. He says it does not
burn
off like all the others, has better retention. I used to use other oils such
as Penz and Quaker, but I did notice a marked increase to NOT having to add
as much oil once I switched to Valvoline.
On a side note, we are using Mobil One synthetic for our turbo diesel VW
Beatle with great results.
