You can never keep someone from stealing your car. The only thing you can
do is make it harder to steal. There are a few ways to keep a car from
running. You can cut the gas, ignition, or starter. The gas can be cut by
installing a valve in the fuel line. This requires you to manually switch
the valve every time. If you have an electric fuel pump you can install a
switch to keep it from running. You can install a master electric cutoff
switch which will keep anything electrical from working. If you go that
rout make sure the cutoff switch also cuts the alternator also. To keep the
car from being pushed or towed you can install a line lock in the brake
system. This will make the brakes locked up until you flip the switch. Car
alarms usually have outputs for ignition, starter, and fuel pump
interupters. Lo-Jack will let you know where your car is after it is
stolen.
