For my $.02 's worth:

Earlier Jags & other Brit cars look great with them, Roadsters - no.  From 
the mechanical/handling standpoint: they quit using wire wheels because they 
were way too heavy.  A lot of unsprung weight is not cool for handling.  
Panasports look sweet, but too $$ for my blood. Will probably look for minitite 
knockoffs for mine.  They have a nice "period" for mid to late 60''s cars.
