Old tires -- there was an article in today's WSJ about old tires, and it stated that car manufacturers recommend that tires be changed every 6 years, and certainly after 10 years, no matter what. I can second that, on my old black 2000 the tires were 11 years old and harder than a rock. I replaced them with new rubber and the car actually stopped sliding on every turn, and rode better to boot. Gary C red red black. |
