I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM, AND DON'T KNOW WHY I TRIED IT, OR WHY IT WORKED, BUT
I FOUND A THICK NAIL (SAME DIAMETER AS THE CABLE), SLICED IT TO ABOUT 1/2
INCH OR A BIT LESS, FILED IT SQUARE AND THEN ADDED IT INTO THE BACK OF THE
SPEEDO IN LINE WITH THE CABLE.
THE EXTRA SNUGNESS OF THE CABLE SEEMED TO STOP THE BOUNCING. WORTH A TRY AS
IT COSTS NOTHING.
