Jay,

I had the same problem with my 280ZX wheels. First thing I did was to
have someone step on the brakes when I tightened down the lug nuts so that
the wheel could be rotated until it was tight against the lug nuts,
thereby centering them pretty well. This worked, but I wanted to get the
correct lug nuts anyway.

Call Wheel Components at (877) 459-4335 and ask for buklk part number
5302. They did the job for me. One thing, expect some sticker shock on the
total price, their shipping and handling run the price up a bit. I bought
some spares just in case I loose one or have one go bad.

You also may want to consider longer wheel studs. The alloy wheels are
fairly thick which don't allow much thread for the nuts to mate with. A
rule of thumb that I use is that for a nut to be able to hold you must
have an amount of thread equal to the diameter of the bolt inside the nut.
Anything less will not be as strong. I used Dorman replacement studs for a
corvair. There are two different Corvair studs, you want the one with the
smaller head. The knurling is different, but it worked fine on my car.

Peace,
Pat
