I have been racing and working on Rdstrs since 1974. Although I won't profess
to be an expert I will say that I have seen alot. I am a repair shop owner
since 1980 and and our buss. is about 75% British and Datsun/ Nissan work. I
would challenge all of you to take a look at a Sunbeam Alpine or Tiger. If
you do , I am sure you will see what I have seen, a frame of a Datsun Rdster.
This brings me to my point. If C. Shelby saw fit to install a small block
Ford in the Alpine then I would think it would work nicely in a Rdster.
Although this might not be high tec it seems that the sound and performance
would most apeeling. Just a thought,hat do you all think
