Hello All,
As you know, I have been working to organize some of the roadsters to go to
the West Coast Z Nationals. It looks to be a great show and there will be
TONS of cars there. I know that most of us will be coming from Solvang and
to get back down to Southern California for the show will be a haul.
I had originally intended to start a caravan at the Irvine Spectrum at 9 am
on Sunday. Today, I received a call from Greg Smith informing me that as
they open the street for the nationals at 8 am coupled with the fact that
hundreds of cars will be there I might want to consider leaving earlier.
7:30 AM to be exact.
Well, I know that people planning to come down from Solvang on Sunday will
not leave Solvang at 4 AM. So my plan now at this point is to go to the show
myself and set aside as many spaces as I can for us. Even if I have to lay
my body in the road I will do so. I have about six people that have said
they will come. I promise that I will save spaces for everyone. Just please
come!
