My 67.5 1600 has a fog light switch. I don't have any
fog lights hooked up, but the wires are right behind
the grill, ready to go.

I don't know for sure about the short windshield cars - mine's a 69. The
latter cars though have the driving light switch built into the stock
headlamp switch. From the wiring diagram it looks like the early cars used
a separate switch. Maybe someone with a flat dash car can confirm that.

What? Are you saying that the headlight switch does a 1/4 turn as well? I
am doing a complete rewire of my engine bay and added a 1-wire 100amp
alternator to power some hot head lights and driving lights. I have a 65
with the additional switch for the fogs, which will be my driving lights. I
plan to run relays for everything.

Is there something that I am missing out on??

If you do the same with your headlight switch, you'll have 12v at those
strange bullet connectors right behind the grill. Built in driving light
switch. If you wire up some high-powered lights though, it's a good idea to
use the stock wiring to run relays for the lights and draw the real power
through some heavier gauge wire.
