Hey Larry - all. I checked into resleeving and most want about 60.00 for a
master cylinder done in brass or bronze. I asked the list if anyone had
experience with resleeving with no reply, so I guess no one has used this
option. I think it would work great and be very cost effective over buying
a new one. I will do this one my next brake rebuild alone with Volvo brake
calipers (anyone tried this?). Resleeving outfits can be found on Hemmings
web site. www.hemmings.com <http://www.hemmings.com>

What about getting one sleeved. Can it be done? Is there enough
metal?
        Larry.

Unfortunately Datsun Master cylinders are made of Aluminum. If they
are
pitted or scored they CANNOT be honed smooth and be rebuilt!!!!!!

They were HARD anodized at the factory to seal and harden the
aluminum.
