Annette, Looks like a pretty nice $1300 roadster, (at
least in my part of the country).  You have more to
choose from on the west coast, but if it runs, steers
and stops, I'd say you cant go wrong at that price. 
Yes, you are going to spend a bundle, but you will
with almost any you buy.  If you do not insist on
staying original with the interior, you can find some
of those Miata seats that seem to work so well in the
high windshield cars.  the floors look fine, just stop
the existing rust with a rust stopping paint, and get
a carpet set.  If the hydrolics are sound and it runs
good, You can invest a little at a time as you have
the $$ and time, and have a nice driver, I'd say.  

Frankly, I'd like to find one about like that, (tall
windshield car) but maybe with a bum motor, then drop
in a 240SX motor & 5 speed, and customize away. 
That's what I'll be looking for in a couple of
years...
