Hi,

Leigh "Shifty" Brooks and I checked out 2 junkyard roadsters in Santa Rosa
north of San Francisco. Thanks to a tip from John Sandhoff and his 510
buddies.

The cars still have a lot of parts on them, but the guy was way too pricey for
us. But maybe someone else in the Bay Area needs the stuff and can negotiate
better than us. Not a pick'n'pull, you tell them what you want and they pull
it off.

A 1966 SPL311-07394, engine#R19295. However, the engine block says R4500.
There's no cylinder head and lots of rusty water in the cylinders. Still has
the 4-speed tranny, wheels, fenders, seats. There's stuff there but it's
rough. Not much chrome, no tail-lights. Rough dash, gauges (not all original),
steering wheel (with 67.5 emblem). Windshield broken out but trim is there.
The red seats are dirty but not torn. Most body parts are in good shape except
for rot in the lower front fenders where they bolt on, but that can be fixed
with a patch piece. The ragtop is beatup but the latches are there. The rear
bumper is really nice. Suspension intact and stock wheels.

Also a 1969 SPL311-19515, engine#R61992. No engine or trans. The interior is
gone, not much chrome. The front fenders are in really good shape, except for
a few dings in the left front. Still bolted under the rear corners.
Windshield, doors intact. Looks like 240Z style American slotted dish mags.

They're at Acme Auto Wreckers, 305 Sebastopol Rd. in Santa Rosa, California.
(707) 546-6816.
