Alternator conversion

Hello list, my alternator on my '69 2000 has died. It is on the exhaust side
of the engine. I have been seeing bits and pieces of converting to the
passenger side and installing a GM alternator on some of the postings. 

Can anyone please tell me the specifics of exactly what alternator to use,
wiring changes and the brackets to mount it?
