Well, here's my experience for what it is worth.
I have a set of the American racing slotted mags from a 240z on my 66
I'm running dunlap 185/60 series on the aforementioned wheels.Don't
know what the offset is, don't know what the width is. I had to flare
the rear wells to get them to fit.(wanted them flared anyway)
prior to this I had the wheels on my 67.5 with NO FLARES! worked fine.
However, I had a taller and skinnier tire on them.
I personaly like the look of that style wheel on a roadster.
a side note here; the 185/60 fits on a stock wheel just fine with no
clearance problems.
