Mike I stripped a set of Z wheels once. The coating is a thick plastic film. I found a solvent solution that did the trick but it took a month and I wouldn't doit that way again. I have recommended paitn stripper in the past Bug juice and tar come right off with a 3M product call Adhesive Remover 8980, but most Pep Boys will carry a consumer grade product that will work. If nothing else, try gasoline. Then wax the spot. "Sam" (Wayne) Loomis SRL311 #11995 & "The Dime" SoCalROC member |
