Hello, I remember at one time when my SU 1600 would give out a gas smell too. It turned out to be fuel from the overflow. One of the floats developed a crack and was tacking in some fuel. This prevented the shut-off from working properly and fuel would drip out. Upon inspection of the float I was unable to detect any cracks but they were there. Fortunately I was at CDM and was able to get the expert advise. Calspeed |
