I am new to the list & have not had the privilege of knowing you. Your idea
about "THE AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY" is admirable. However, people who do
donate to great causes such as THE AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY do so on their
own anyway. Our prime agenda w/ the list should be to preserve the roasters
as best we can. It is apparent that you are a proud man & would not accept
any donation. How about an informal (to keep the lawyers away!!!) common
ownership of the roadster and you being appointed as the trustee? Each
person contributing shall own a percentage of the car based on the amount
collected. You, as the trustee, will oversee the purchase, upkeep. etc...
You may purchase the car outright @ later time (when financially suited) or
sell it and divide the proceed to shareholders. If receptive, please contact
your ex and get $$ info.
Lets buy this baby back and be proud to own a piece of a history by adding
another datsun roadster in our sign out signature line.
