Howdy all,
Just finished taking apart my U20 and found the
following:
- Rod4 bearings were fried. Color is copper,
presumably due to overheating and oil starvation ?

- All main bearing cap bolts on the side of the oil
galley were full of sludge. It was like pulling the
bolts out of a swamp. Odor was also very strong and
bad. Color was black to greyish. All bolts on the
other side were all dry !

Also, the entire bottom end has a dark copper color to
it, even the chains.
Given all this, any idea what went wrong ?
