In addition to my earlier post concerning trouble with a battery (relocated
to trunk) ground, I am considering upgrading to an alternative alternator,
preferably internally regulated. I have heard of a GM one wire alternator
conversion in which the alt. is mounted on the passenger side of the engine.
Is this conversion documented somewhere? I need to know what kind of bracket
is required, how to modify the wiring harness and how to bypass mech. voltage
regulator.
