Consider yourself lucky, and let her drive it now and then. I used to
have a more common problem...jealousy. Every girlfriend I ever had was
jealous of my car(s), including my wife, although she seems to be over it
now.
Of course, if you witness her doing something really stupid behind the
wheel, you should attempt to revoke her privileges, and you should try to be
the passenger, just in case of mechanical trouble. Even the best maintained
Roadster can be temperamental at times, and you probably don't want her
towing it to the local Firestone, or being stranded somewhere late at night.
Of course, you could just stiffen the suspension 'till it rides like a
cattle cart, then get her pregnant and she'll be afraid to even ride in it
for fear of hurting the baby. This is my current situation ;-)
