You need to point out that a Roadster is a man's car, and things like Toyota
Corollas and Chrysler Neons are girls cars. You wouldn't drive a Corolla,
therefore she shouldn't drive your Roadster. :-)
"A little Roadster / girlfriend story." My ex-girlfriend once conned me into
letting her drive my old low screen 2000. She had never driven a car with a 5
speed before, or a car with a heavy clutch. She was driving at about 120 kph
(about 70 mph) and was in 5th when we approached a small town. I told her she
should slow down going through town. She asked if she should change down to 4th
gear, I said "if you want to you can". She then went to put it into 4th but she
missed and managed to get it into 2nd, and at the same time she dumped the
clutch.
As the wheels locked in a cloud of smoke and my head hit the dash board, the car
flexed so much under the stress of this manoeuvre that the top back section of
the
the door hit the inside of the door jamb and chipped paint off both panels. This
girl never again held a Roadster steering wheel in her hands.
