is she a competent driver? you've gotten a lot of good input here.

options:

just say no-  result: she doesn't get to drive it, but probably gets 
pretty pissed off.

say yes-  but not if she's a ditz behind the wheel. if she has a cell 
phone, tell her it is not allowed in the roadster

buy her a roadster of her own

although it has been pointed out that there are more women out there 
than Datsun Roadsters, you need to clarify to yourself whether the 
relationship is mostly hormonal or what....do you think you'd like to 
spend the rest of your life with this woman? how about the car? if 
both answers are yes (and she meets the "competent driver" criteria) 
you better let her drive it and plan on getting her one of her own as 
soon as possible. good luck!
