The MSD is easy to install Jeff, it needs one wire from the batt., one
from the ignition switch. It can be triggered with magnetic or the
original points (in which case the points become a simple switch with no
load and last forever). The unit comes with complete and easily
understandable instructions. It comes with extra connections on the
coil that allow a return to the point system in case of a failure. Bill

The Pertronix unit will trigger the MSD as well. This allows high RPM
use without point float. A Pertronix and an MSD will trigger your motor
ACCURATELY to any rpm it can maintain. The only thing better is
a crank fire system.
