| At one time, Delrin was in favor. Just like Keith is saying, you buy it in bar stock and machine it on a lathe. I did this on my Elan 15 years ago and they work great. The ride is obviously a little harsher, but for a racing car, I wouldn't think that this would be a problem. They were very easy to machine and infinitely cheaper than the original equipment bushings. Though I am not a chemist, I am guessing it is just a brand name for some type of urethane.
