Randall, you've prompted me to add the 2357 to my testing regime. I notice
that the LEDtronics description indicates that their particular unit

"feature 24 Super Red (633nm) discrete LEDs that are
scientifically configured to maximize brightness and to
fill the entire light fixture lens. Eighteen LEDs direct
light straight through the vehicles fixture. Additionally,
six LEDs are arranged perpendicular to the lamp base in
order to radiate light onto the light fixtures reflector
and illuminate the entire surface of the fixture."

That strikes me as a good thing for broad-angle visibility. I'm trying
to figure out if the right thing is to get white and let the lens set
the color, or put specific colors behind specific lenses.
