Never heard of the car, but "Sabra" is the term for a native-born Israeli. A
sabra is a fruit native to the region with a tough exterior and a soft, sweet
interior. Get the metaphor? If the Israelis ever did build a native car, it's
a good bet it would be called a "Sabra."
