Well, my wiring harness isn't melting, but it is completely covered in oil,
grease, dirt, undercoat, and other forms of coalesced gels. (The subject
here is the part of the main harness exposed to the engine bay of my TR6.)
Since it is now out of the car and the body is getting the twice-over, do I
hear any suggestions for cleaning up the harness without destroying
anything? Will the plastic insulation absorb too much solvent if I subject
it to a stream of parts-cleaner? Will the harness wrapping fall off if I
try this? If it does absorb a little solvent, couldn't I just lay it out on
my Hot Texas driveway for a few hours to evaporate everything?

Is that a lot of questions, or what! Hey, I answer questions all day; I
deserve to ask a few...
