When the tranny was rebuilt the clutch fork pin was probably broken. Rather than removing the broken bits and getting new ones, they fixed it good. I wouldn't worry about it, at least not until you need to rebuild the gearbox again. Which shouldn't be too soon, but given the shortcut taken on the clutch fork, who knows what the box might really be like inside. And for any others rebuilding a TR gearbox, replace that pin! mjb. |
