There are variations. The cases are the same, but it's desirable to have the
3.27 rear on NON-OD cars for the street. My car tachs (well, used to before it
blew the rear) 3000 rpm @60 mph. The GT6 rears are the same as the Spits also
except there are 4 spring studs vs. 6 on the GT6. The standard Spit rear is
3.89 though. My car has a Spit rear with the 3.27 gears.
