Every month I see this ad in BRITISH CAR magazine for a lever-type
knock-off tool. Apparently one end of it fits onto the knock-off
wings and allows you to tighten or untighten without marring the chrome.
With this tool it appears that the perplexing problem of applying just
the right whack-newtons of torque to your knock-offs might be solvable.
Assuming, of course, you have a calibrated arm.
The ad includes a photo, and while the young lady in it does have
nice legs, I would have preferred seeing what this thingie looks like.
For 150 bucks each it aught to worth a clearer picture. Have any of you
seen or tried one of these tools?
