Ifns it was my clutch of cars, I would dump or trade the Olds for enough for
a shell for the city pickup.  I would also re-seal the MGB {try removing
kick pannel upolstry then using that newish RTV like calking compound on the
seams inside the engine compartment.  That would probably seal  it & not have
the sealing compound show from the outside}.  The British Victoria MGB
hard top might be a possibility.
