Just saw some interesting tidbits. Range Rover replaced by a model with a
32 valve, 4.5 liter 220 hp V8. Wonder if those heads will fit on an old
B-O-P alloy block...
New MGD will debut in fall of '92 as a 93 model, based on Rover 200 platform,
whatever that might be. Another Rover project is building "new" MGB-V8s.
Says Rover Special Projects is considering th eRange Rover 3.9 V8 in old
MGB bodies. Hmm, neat stuff!
As for old cars, we have a 79 Midget for $6,200, 16,000 "original" miles.
Wonder how many reproduction miles are on it? A '67 Cooper S, only $6,000.
Also listed is this SCCA FP Midget, $8,000 invested, best offer. Enough of
this, time to check the compilation.
