There is a web site where a fellow has installed twin turbos on an AMC 360
in a AMX. The engine can certainly handle the power if you swap in a
forged 401 crank and ring the block. A 401 would be even better as it is a
beefier block. 500 horses easy. But space is a problem in a Bricklin. I
have looked at this carefully and see real problems fitting even one turbo
in without a lot of modifications to the engine compartment. Also, turbos
aren't cheap especially if you add the intercooler, advanced knock sensing
ignition controller and a water injector if you expect to use pump gas. A
belt driven supercharger is probably going to fit better especially if you
remove the smog air pump. Still expensive though.
