Milt Burleson has won OSP in AAS for three years running. I won it in 2002
trading wins with Milt, Al Patterson, Jack Van Wettering, Marty Nygaard, and
David Borden. Katie Kelly also won one event in a tuneup for nationals.

Scott Steenhoek in a Mazda pickup was seventh, having bailed after six events.

What you are remembering is the 2002 Sacramento Cup series. It wasn't just
David that showed up, but Milt and myself as well. Gilbert and Anthony showed
up at round 9 to throw everyone into a dither.

"Mercifully, it all made no difference in the end as David Borden drove
splendidly to post the fastest class times each day and claim the OSP Cup for
the third straight year." -- The Wheel, November, 2002.
