Ive seen their sizes run large. I also wear 42 jacket and medium is the
size of choice.

Hi Mike, I also wear a 42 jacket. Out of the three Port Authority
jackets I've gotten, the medium fits best. The small fits Ellen, and
large is wearable but baggy. Good for "layering" when you need to go
outside in sub-zero-degree weather.
