The average number of entrants per SFR regular season event has dropped 8%
since 2003, but the raw drop in attendance was mitigated by running a higher
percentage of events at Oakland.
Looking at changes since 2003 by site tells a more dramatic story:
Candlestick is down 32% from 263 to 180.
Oakland is down 13% from 286 to 250
Golden Gates Field is down 10% from 226 to 203.
Marina is down 14% from 196 to 168.
Attendance at Sacramento events in Stockton and AAS events in Atwater has
remained the same during this same period.
Between 2004 and 2005 the SFR attendance drop was in the stock classes.
