Katie,

Both STS2 (National Supplemental Class) and ST2 (SFR Regional Class where Lucy
IS Legal!) follow Street Touring rules allowing up to 7.5" wide rims. We've
three sets of wheels/tires between the '91 (STS2 Legal) and '95 (ST2 Legal)
Miatas:

15x7.5 SSR w/ 42 mm offset - 205/50 Falcon Azenis Sports (not great for
standing water or when overheated but great value - New tire coming next year)

15x7 Kosei T1-S w /38mm offset - 205/50 BFG g-Force T/A KD (Dry weather tire -
little experience with these but the grip feels really good on the street)

15x7 Enkie RP-F1 w/35mm offset - 195/50 Toyo T1-S (Wet weather tire, very light
and provides great turn in)

If I had to select just one setup and needed them tomorrow I'd go for the Kosei
T1-S ($149 ea.) and the Kumho MX ($82.00 ea.) mounted, balanced and delivered
from Tire Rack's Nevada warehouse.

If you need to borrow something in the meantime and can make the trip to the
East Bay just yell...

Lucy my Miata needs new tires like NOW. One's corded,
which explains the funny wopping noises. It's probably
been corded for awhile. 'Nother story.

What rim sizes are legal for this new ST2 or STS2
class? Is this really going to happen?

Is a '96 Miata R even legal for this class?

Help!

-Katie
