Has anyone seen this kind of problem on a street tire used for
autocross? The tires have 3200 total miles, about 15 3-run autocrosses (8
at GGF, 3 at Oakland Col., 3 at Candlestick, 1 at Alameda ). This just
started showing up during the last two events at GGF.

The two front tires with the damage are 205/50-17 ContiSport Contact 2
N2, OEM front tires on our Boxster. The tread depth now is 6/32 center,
and 5/32 in the circumferential groove closest to the outside edge. The
rear tires don't have the problem.
