One of the Isuzu enthusiast groups has been lobbying for some time
(http://www.isuzuweb.org/sccaban.html) to get this car a reasonable
classification. There's currently some disagreement over production
numbers.
(The newer Elan shares the Isuzu-built 1.6L turbo with the AWD Isuzu
Impulse - my Impulse gets the "Handling by Lotus" sticker in exchange :).
