You're trying to argue from "generalizations are not true for some
cases" to "generalizations are false in all cases". Who's stretching it?
Yes, *some* SUV drivers know what they are doing. Like I said before,
*nobody* has claimed that there are no competent drivers of SUVs. Are
you trying to claim that there are not lots and lots of them that
range from totally clueless about the nature of their vehicle to
downright aggressive?
I recently took a ride with a guy who drives an Explorer. He fully
realizes that he's driving a truck, and is courteous to other
drivers. He bought it because it was dirt cheap (a no-option 2-door
with manual transmission), not because he wants to scare people in
Miatas. That does not mean that everyone is like him.
