Yes, you are right.  When you enter time trial mode, you don't get the
opportunity to change setup, but after you quit out of the session, the
settings menu comes up in the same screen as "Try Again".  The thing you
can't do in the arcade disc is buy parts or cars.

Since not too many people have the Cerbera LM and it's an optional prize car
(though one worth having I must say), let's try something else.  Viper GTS-R
Team Oreca (can be purchased), Seattle Circuit.

Now, when you say 2 laps, do you mean the first 2 laps (out lap + next lap),
any two laps, or any two consecutive laps?  Forgive me, I have never been in
a league and don't know the protocol.  And what lap limit?  I'd prefer
unlimited, since after a while I get tired and frustrated anyway.  But I'll
tell you what.  Since I'm suggesting the car and track, you can make the
rules:)
