I think this may be a matter of horses for courses. I wasn't nearly flat to
the floor through the slalom, as I mentioned before I was up to slalom speed
by the second cone. And while I agree about the further distance, I think
it would have been worthwhile. I was SEVERELY constrained (in my big fat
car) in how fast I could get through the turn after the slalom by going
inside the last cone - and that back straight was the second longest one on
the course.
