If memory serves me well, when I left the SEB town hall meeting in topeka,
they said they were moving the miata from DP to AP. Reasoning was what
other car does the miata most closely resemble?????? An elan, only with 30
year newer technology. If they are indeed moved and the ones that attended
this year return there will be an increase of 6 cars and 7 competitors in AP
open and 2cars with 3 drivers in APL. The fastest Miata won DP, would have
finished 2nd in AP and the slowest would not have been last. Based on this
years numbers and times if Miata was in AP they would have had 14 drivers, 5
trophies with 2nd and 5th going to Miata drivers. Looks like a fair match
to me.
