Nobody from the Oregon Region has mentioned
anything yet, so...

We run our events in two halfs, stock class, pax, st
in one part of the day, sp,p,m classes in the other.
for the first half of the day:

Registration is open at 7:30am to 8am for SCCA
member only. From 8am to 8:15am non members
can register.

We place an event cap of 75 drivers for each half of
the day, so 150 total for the day. We usually come
close to our caps, but I think we have only run up
against it a couple times. And I'm sure we would let
in a few drivers if we had 153 drivers.

This year was the first year we adopted this policy.
What is has done for us, is increase SCCA
memberships drastically, because people want to
make sure they get first crack at registering. Most of
the people that would normally just show up for a
few events, became members, and seem to
participate more regularly now. This is the case
with my Subie friends.

It has also allowed us to keep to our schedule, and
we usually get 4 runs, sometimes 5 runs at each
event.

Hope this helps.
