My second paragraph was in reference to Speed Channel as a whole,
not to today's broadcast. I guess I should have prefaced it with
a FWIW or BTW. Yes, the header does make it confusing. I quoted
from Burl Vilbert on the 911 list and did not mention which
network was airing the race. I believe he is from Canada and may
not even be watching NBC.
My Bobsled reference was specific in that it is more like
autocrossing than most sports. Plus, Bob Cuneo and his Chassis
Dynamics team are from Connecticut, where Speedvision used to be
based and I still am.
