I have done a ton of autocrosses (nearly every warm weekend the last three
years). Only one did I hate the finish. A recent PCA (Porsche club)
event. Sharp left jink, at the outside of the turn was the tent with
people and timers and such. I walked up to the boss man and said "50%
probability that my car will end up sideways right here, next to the tent."
Their response was that any accident was therefore my fault. They changed
the finish slightly, no accidents there, but that was one of only two
autocrosses I have ever done that I considered not driving because of
course design.
Full throttle through the finish. Period.
